Our colleague, Athanasios Stratikopoulos, from University of Manchester partner, delivered a presentation in 7th MoreVMs workshop (MoreVMs’23), that acknowledges ENCRYPT, while he was also workshop co-organiser. The event took place in Tokyo, Japan on March 13th, as one of the tracks of ‹Programming› 2023 International Conference.
The work presented showcases how TornadoVM can be extended to enable the portability of the generated code that runs on a GPU or FPGA across multiple programming languages and libraries, highlighting part of the work related to the Acceleration Service that UNIMAN leads as a task in ENCRYPT project. In particular, the presentation demonstrated how Java can be used as a prototyping language for expressing parallel code implementations that can be reused by other programming languages.
