On the 2nd October, the Spanish Data Protection authority AEPD and the European Cybersecurity Agency ENISA held a conference in Madird with the title “Data Spaces in the EU: Synergies between Data Protection and Data Spaces. EU challenges and Experiences of Spain.”
Dr. Irene Kamara from Tilburg University spoke about technical standardisation in data spaces at a panel on Data Protection by Design and by Default in data spaces.
In the afternoon, Irene co-moderated together with a representative of the Catalan data protection authority a roundtable discussion on data breaches and security measures in dataspaces, based on a scenario of a breach in a health data space.
